I think Wilson will probaly be in the finals but I think Rissler will take it. It'll be a good match that come down to 3-4 point decision

It should be an interesting sectionals. I agree with your picks for the champs but there are a few wrestlers that could be in the mix of things. The Ng brothers from Monticello are hungry for a sectional championship. Do not count them out. The 96lber from Warwick just won the Ardsley championship over a pretty decent wrestler from No Rockland. I have not seen him but he could maybe make it interesting. The middle weights have too many guys going back and forth in the weight classes. Trevor Gale, Sean Taft, Bobby Gingras...all could be in the mix. From 152 up all seem to be a lock...but in the sport of wrestling, nothing is ever certain. Don't count out Callahan and the kid from Kingston at 189. Scott Reed too at 275.

Bauer and Franco will be a battle. It is too bad that they can't separate so both of them go to the states. Once they are out of sections, both classes 119 and 125 will be just about impossible to win with Magnani and Nickerson. But it would be nice to see both of them go especially since they are both seniors.

i hear its a toss up for Franco, he might go 119 and have Valastro in the finals or go 125 and have Bauer in the finals either way it'll be a good finals match
don't count out Shabazz Bailey, hes a tough kid and hungry from the section championship
Jim Dalloway is fightin in the 189 class too
I don't know about Rissler for 130, doesn't seem like a solid wrestler to me, i could be wrong though
where is Laurent from?

This is my opinion:
96-jaime franco
103-mike d'mato (biddle is very good also)
112-lou ruggirello
119-andy franco (should be very exciting match with bauer)
125-pat lempka (digging for that one)
130-shad rissler (have seen rissler this year and he looks really tough)
135-dimitri laurent
140-dennis bermudez
145-shabazz bailey
152-john foley
160-hopefully someone bumps up lol. mike leighton maybe
171-ricky scott
189-alex kaufmann(will be very motivated after loss to dollbaum at eastern states)
215-ed bordas
275-scott reed

look for ruggirello and scott to repeat as state champs, bordas should get his first. kaufmann is ranked second in the state, could see him in the finals

96-Jamie Franco
103-Jerimiah Biddle
112-Lou Ruggirello
119-Andy Franco
125-Sean Bauer
130-Joe Wilson
135-Shabazz Bailey
140-Dennis Bermudez
145-Bobby Gingras
152-John Foley
160-Mike Van Houten
171-Ricky Scott

275-Toss Up between Marcus Gurdineer and Tom Beyer, I say Gurdineer edges Beyer 6-4, if Beyer wins, it will be by pin.
