Again, this year we will be sending a team to compete in the Regional Duals at the 2015 Annual NYWAY Kickoff. This year’s Kickoff is scheduled for the weekend of January 3rd and 4th, 2015. The venue for this and Sundays individual tournament is at Sullivan County Community College Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759. Each Region is responsible fielding a team from within its regional boundaries.
Applicants must reside within the NYWAY Western Region counties:
Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, Yates, Seneca, Steuben, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Schuyler
45, 50, 55, 60, 66, 72, 79, 87, 95, 102, 110, 120, HWT (135 max)

Bump! Looks like the Capital region is putting together a "contender" Let’s make sure we improve on our last year 2nd place finish at the 2015 NYWAY Regional Duals. Wrestle-offs are Sunday 12/21/2014.

Maybe you guys forgot but there's a little team from Long Island looking to keep what they earned. Not releasing any names, but I think the team is stronger this year than last and we expect to the State Trophy to stay exactly where it belongs, on Long Island's mantle! Anyone who wants it had better pack a lunch and bring it!

This is a K-8 dual meet tournament.....correct? Maybe we should just let the kids enjoy themselves and get a chance to wrestle against the better wrestlers in their age group instead of having adults talk about trophies on mantles. Perspective please.

Best of luck to all the teams participating. Expect the competition to be fierce this year and I'm just stating the fact that LI is getting ready to bang with the other regions and wants to take the title again. That's all. It will ultimately be decided on the mats!
