Can someone post current wildcard points like they did last year? And any prediction in the six.

99 none of the boys will get a wildcard as none placed. With the 10 bonus points the 99 wildcards come from 11 & 8.

106 Harry & Bartholomei both should have enough for a wildcard

113 Rozler would have enough for a wildcard should he lose

120 Rabideau would be the only one should he lose

126 Just Mcdougald should he lose

132 Willie should he lose

138 I don't either Dewolf or Catanzaro gets in tough weight

145 Just Warren if he loses

152 Stencel if he loses, Daghestani will be close depending on rest of the state

160 none

170 don't think anyone

182 none

195 none

220 Andreessen if he loses

285 Jaquan might have enough if he loses.

This is hard to do right now. To start with, you don't know who else in other sections are going to be WC eligible.

Yes it is difficult but 170 around the State does not have a lot of depth I think Dan will have a decent shot as I think he has more points than Section 2,3,4,5 & 11.

Section 9 Ganuncio has a section final 20 pts and record of 37-5 32 pts

52 pts plus bonus of 5 pts for a total of 57.

Yeah, Section 8 has nobody with any points at 170 except Matt Rogers of Wantagh, and he'll likely win the section. That will be a killer weight class in Albany with Barnes and Cuomo.

If Nick Blanton of Section 11 makes it to the finals of 170 and loses to Meile-Estrella, he will still have 35 pts on w/l differrential, 2nd place points, and 10 sectional points.

Emblidge with a final. He would have two finals (40) pts and 5 bonus plus his record between 27-29.

72 pts

Blanton would have record (35) finalist (25) bonus (10) = 80

So yes Blanton would have more.

99 Bielec over Ewan. Tomlinson over Lucinski

106 Bartolomei over Harry. Evans over Alberti.

113 Rozler over Pool. Skowronski over Colantino

120 Rabideau over Snowden. Bierfeldt over Wallace.

126 Braddell over Kissell. McDougald over Coriglaino.

132 McDougald over ?. Very deep DII field here. Colom has not looked as dominant this year as last and seems vulnerable. Has a loss to Evans and looked spent at the end of a 4-3 win over Kramer. He may not be able to win both a tough semi and final as his matches typically end early. This weight class should have the best semis.

138 Cantanzaro over DeWolf. Russo over Putney

145 McDougald over MacTavish. Day over Grey

152 Stencel over Daghestani. Ingrao over Choate.

160 Breeden over Thibeau. Torres over Rowe.

170 Wojiechwski over Emblidge. Penhollow over Sarow.

182 Kenney over Daskavits. Hoose over Nixon

195 Walter over Bielec. Keefe over Trim.

220 Andreesen over Turzillo. Rigerman over Walsh.

285 Kennedy over Johnson. Robinson over Becker.

I was putting Section 6 hopes on Andreessen for a state championship, but Rodriguez from Long Beach bumped up too.
Willie Mcd might be our best shot. He came real close to beating Vines at Eastern states.

Rodriquez won his qualifier finals match 4-3. He can be beaten. I dont think he wanted to bump to 220, but he was beaten soundly by Loew twice this year. I really believe 220 is more open than you think.

Vines beat McDougald on a TD with 10 seconds left, and McDougald up by 1. So I absolutely give McDougald a chance in a rematch. Vines gets a ton of points on shortime, when he catches opponants napping.

Willie was the aggressor the entire match..Vines was winded and out of steam before the end of 1st period. Willie made a small mistake and has learned by that. Willie can beat Vines only a matter of time. Even Vines spoke on the topic to us at ES. He knows you van not get points and stall out the rest of match while wrestling McDougald. I look forward to this match again. Hopefully the next time Mcdougald hand will be the one raised.. also wpuld like to add how the refs there didnt count a few things that were scores.. those refs were the worst anyone has ever seen.. and we dont bash refs, but they were horrid to all the wrestlers there. MANY took losses that weekend based on horrid calls. Smh..
