How strong is the section 5 team this year? 4 overall number 1 seeds and many seeded in top 5. Still have to perform but if the do it could be a good year for section 5.

Not really sure how Rocco got seeded 4th behind Ryder. Rocco placed at the states last year has a better record this year and finished higher at eastern states

In fairness to Ryder, the only reason he placed behind Camilacci at the ES tournament was due to bracket placement. At the end of the day, their only losses at that tournament were to Poulan and Liardi.

But I agree with you, based on last years state placement. Camillacci should be the #3 seed. I think that will be fixed.

It’s all about points or head to head and kids they beat during the year some kids carry more points depending what section there from and if they won there section or took 2nd or 3rd placing at states does help but might not be enough. I’m not sure who has what for points but that’s the way I was told. But if they do change it Rocco will have a good shot at finals.

132 bracket has the top 2 guys meeting in the 2nd round, imo. J Mcd vs Maucere.

At 132 that could be true. But Maucere has no state placements.

I agree almost entirely. I don't think Scott wins, he has too may close matches...but hope im wrong. He does seem to be able to generate points when he "needs to" but I like Carter to beat him. I don't think Callaghan places, and I don't think Cocozza places. I dont see Samson winning but place him around 3rd or 4th although it's his last shot and he has tons of experience here. Good luck to all our buys!!! You've all busted your butts to get here, now take advantage of your opportunities!

Ryder has more competition points.

Competition points? I thought you only got them by beating a state placeholder?

That is one way but beating anyone that’s in the tournament gives you points as well

I must be missing something. Please name all these "quality wins" Ryder has over Camillacci, that would outweigh Camillacci being a state placeholder.
