On Thursday February 14th the United States will be wrestling a Belarus/Russian National Team at American University in Washington, D.C. Both Muzaffar Abdurakhmanov and Jesse Jantzen will be competing for the US. For those who have never seen or heard of Muz, he is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. I am sure most of you have heard of Jesse. The US team will be coached by American University Head Coach Mark Cody, and Americans Assistant Coach and 2007 World Silver Medalist Brad Vering. The Belarus team will have at least two world medalists on the team. The drive from Rochester is about 6 hours. So if your up for it and want to see some of the best wrestlers in the world compete take a trip down to D.C. Watch some great wrestling and enjoy the sights! I believe the cost is $15.
