Here's a question for you? Who do you think is the best wrestler within the section who did not make their team during the season/for the post season???

Christian Averill- Hands down the best not to make it to post-season. maybe ever.
Most Pins at Hudson Falls and Spencerport and OW at Corinth.
Beat almost everyone in Sec 2 at 119, but Nick Kelly is pretty hard to beat

This is the kid with the 7 second pin (spladel) in the finals against the Catskill kid Tyler Pavlin who set the Catskill school record for wins that day in the Corinth Invy...

I feel really bad for him . He put more work into the season than anyone in the section combined. He is really determined and its a shame that the section doesnt get to see how good he is. He was a darkhorse in reg season and to not be allowed to wrestle post season is ashame.

Section II has to start allowing 2 individuals from the same team to enter the same weight class. Lets keep up with the rest of the state. I would love to hear the arguements against this ruling. It certainly works in other sections.

Pat Wilson is another example. 189 for Salem would be seeded 2nd in the class tourney, instead he will be watching. He is a senior and has had a very good season, placing first in the Wasaren tourney and 2nd at the Schenectady tourney. Don't we want the best at Glens Falls?

His teammate, Kevin Bardin, who wrestled 215 most of the year, is wrestling 189 for the class tourney and seeded first.

How about his teamate Mike Rotyliano, i mean if he didnt get hurt and wasnt behind Belanger and Hazleton he would have had a chance to compete for the section title. It sucks he dosnt get the chance to compete but he is definetly in the mix for best wrestler to never make the postseason. Ya this is a bad list to be on but hopefully these 3 guys can keep there heads up and enjoy the season they had

He is a team player, thats why he wrestled 215 all year, to help the team win. The post season is for individual accomplishments. Bardin will place 1st in the class tourney, and Wilson would place 2nd, as he beat the #2 seed twice this year.

absolutely not, its not fair for bardin at all weighing 189 and wrestling at 215 for sectionals, especially when he took 4th in the section at 89 last year, who knows what hell to this year, probably make it to the finals
