1960-1961 Hammondsport Lakers
WRESTLING. Our wrestling team put forth a good fight against keen competition. Ray Radar and Lugene Blancher attended the county matches with Ray taking first place in the unlimited class and Lugene finished second place in the 180 pound class. Ray was defeated in the Bi-County matches held in Canisteo. With nine lettermen returning next fall, Coach Stiles hopes to have a better season next year. SOURCE: The 1961 Vintage.
